Tom Susman broadcast live from the State Capitol in Charleston Thursday morning as the State Legislature's 60 day regular session begins to wind down. Tom spoke with State Senator Amy Grady, Delegate Jonathan Pinson, Delegate Dana Ferrell, State Senator Eric Tarr, Governor Patrick Morrisey and Delegate Happy Joe Parsons about the session and what to look for over the next nine days. Tom also chats with Roger Calhoun and Gaylene Miller of AARP-West Virginia about some of the issues that seniors face they would like to see addressed before the end of the session.

Fifty years ago this week, Sheriff Elvin Wedge, a Mason County Deputy and the county's jailer were killed in an explosion at the Mason County Courthouse. A memorial service was held on Monday to remember the lives lost from that day. Tom Susman was there and spoke with individuals who attended. Tom also has a conversation with Brett Patterson, organizer for the Cabin Fever Festival, which is coming up in Pomeroy on Saturday.
